Im Kanton Wallis gibt es ausser den 43 Viertausender auch ein paar Alpenpässe, welche man zu Fuss erwandern kann. Wir wanderten vom Mattertal über den Augstbordpass ( 2’894m) nach Gruben im Turtmanntal. Am 2. Tag wanderten wir über den Meidpass nach St.Luc im Val d’Anniviers. Das Bild zeigt das Weisshorn (4’505m ü.M.) aufgenommen auf dem Weg zum Meidpass.
